Spring Cleaning: Chase Away the Dust Bunnies!

Last week we changed our clocks and cleaned out vents and filters. With the coming of Spring and an additional hour of light yesterday, we’ve discovered the dust bunnies under furniture and cob webs in the corners. It’s time for spring cleaning!

We think about spring as a time to clean our homes because we have been cooped up inside during the biting cold winter weather. Our homes are stuffy because the fresh, cold air has been kept outside.
Clean It Up
Regardless of why spring and cleaning are inseparable, you feel a strong need to clean at the beginning of spring. And whether you think every thing in your home must be moved, cleaned over/under/around thoroughly and replaced, or you’d rather just brush off the top layer of dust and blow the dust bunnies farther back to their corners, it’s time to look at the idea of cleaning your home.

Either start with the daily tasks or go to the bottom of the list and tackle the big, annual items first. Make a list of what you want to tackle each day. After you’ve cleaned a couple of rooms, reward yourself with a flavorful cup of coffee or a glass of your favorite wine!
