Blue Valley Unified School District
Located in east central and southeast Johnson County, the top-rated Blue Valley Unified School District covers 91 square miles of Overland Park, including parts of Leawood and Stilwell. With more than 22,000 students in K-12, Blue Valley’s graduation rate is 97%. The district has earned recognition beyond just appearing on Niche.com’s top-10 list.

Of the five high schools in the Shawnee Mission School District, two made Niche.com’s top-10. More than 27,000 students are enrolled in K-12 at Shawnee Mission, and the district serves a diverse student population from 14 cities within northeast Johnson County, Kansas.
Olathe Unified School District
Two out of five high schools in the Olathe Unified School District ranked on the top-10 list. With more than 30,000 students in K-12, Olathe the is the second-largest school district in Kansas and one of the biggest in the Kansas City metro area. According to the district’s website, It’s also one of the fastest-growing school districts in the area, and the community it serves has been listed among America’s Top-25 Places to Live and Go to School.
